Silver (☽ Luna)

Silver is the metal of Luna (☽), the queen of the planetary metals — reflective, cool, and receptive where gold is radiant and active. In the metal-planet affinities, silver governs the tidal and nocturnal realm, associated with the White Work (opus album) and the albedo stage. The Turba Philosophorum teaches that silver is the feminine complement to gold's masculine principle; their conjunction in the vessel produces the Rebis.
